Scenes from the Weekend no. 2

again.. this idea was inspired by busy bee lauren

I went to a chinese restaurant with my family on friday. I cracked open my fortune cookie and that's what it said... hmmm.

the tulips in my grandparent's garden. spring is here, guys!

April showers bring May flowers right? It rained all day Friday and Saturday here!

this was taken on my friend's Mac computer.. we all hung out that day and made cupcakes!

we also listened to music, talked about boys, and ate until our stomachs were about to explode. ;)

the sun finally came out on Sunday. it felt amazing!

these stupid suckers pop up in our grass all through spring and summer. they're cute, but not at the same time.

this weekend was pretty laid back for me. on friday night I went to a friends house to play night games around the neighborhood and watch a movie. that was pretty fun.

on saturday, I woke up early to watch one of my best friends play in her tennis match, but then found out that the match was delayed 6 hours later because of the rain! man, what I do for friends... ;) (I didn't bring my camera, so no pictures of that!) after that, I went to chill with Sadie and Camber (pictured above). us girls could talk and eat for hours!! ha. that's probably not a good thing. it's whatevs.

by the way... my dad got the iPhone, so as you can see, all of these pictures were taken from his phone and edited with the app called Instagram (except for the ones taken on my friends Mac). I want that phone oh-so-bad. seriously. I basically stole it from him for the weekend.

I've also been taking some practice tests online to help me with my End Of Level testing that is coming up in a few weeks! ahhh. so nervous. so listen to this... in order to get the participation points for my practice tests, I have to get a score of at least 80%. the test I was taking was 60 questions long... ridiculous, I know! so I take it, and I click 'Submit', and what do I get? a freakin 78%!! that WOULD happen to me. sheesh. like I said.. ridiculous!

so yep. that's what my weekend was like. pretty exciting? not really. but it's alright. now I shall go to bed, to start the week all over again. :)

Friday's Fancies

hey, guess what? it's FRIDAY. (gotta get down on friday! fun, fun, fun, fun. we so excited!) if you don't already know what I'm talking about... please watch this video.

oh man. I feel bad for that girl. hahah

anyways, to the point...

today, I decided to join in on Friday's Fancies from {long distance loving}. what you do is you create your dream outfit without looking at the price tag for whatever activity your Friday will hold. how fun!

for my outfit I created, I used the amazing: Polyvore.

today, I'm hanging out with Kenzie, and we'll being going to a few school soccer games then hanging out with friends afterwards. so it should be fun! this outfit I put together is probably a little too dressy for a soccer game, but I can dream, right?

so I chose a cute, ruffly top with some casual jeans. I'm in love with that top. the color is amazing! then I paired it with some white sandals and a gray messenger type bag. I would wear neutral eye makeup, and the bracelet just for fun! I love it. what do you think??

Spring Break Day 1: Beach

today was the first "official" day of our trip! since we were stuck in the car for almost the whole day yesterday, we decided we would go to the beach first thing the next day to relax and have fun!

we stayed in a little condo about 2 blocks away from the beach. so awesome! the only downside of the place we stayed in is that there's a railroad track right next to us, so about every two hours... that train comes by and it just loves to blow that horn!!

we walked on the pier and this is a telescope thing (I have no idea what they're called) that you could look through and see the whole beach!

Wee Bit Wednesdays

hellooo everyone!

of course the one time I actually have time to post something, my computer decides to be dumb. sooo the pictures from my Spring Break will be postponed until it wants to work again. :)

I decided I would do "Wee Bit of Me Wednesday" from Ashley's blog today to keep you guys entertained. it's fun! you should join in too!

{one} what was your first job?I haven't had an official job yet, but if babysitting counts then I guess that would be mine!

{two} have you ever seen a stand up comedian?Nope!

{three} when was the last time you played mini golf?I believe I went last summer... yes? no? I don't remember :)

{four} what was the last picture you took?one of the beach in California before we left to go back home.

{five} burnt food: yes or no?no thank you!
{six} if you have a pocket full of change, what do you do with it?stuff it in my wallet. I usually take out all the pennies (I hate pennies) and give them to my little sister and keep all the rest. ;)

{seven} can you touch your tongue to your nose?not quite. I'm so close, but it just won't reach far enough! haha

{eight} do you scrapbook?no, but I have tried digital scrapbooking before.

{nine} do you buy lottery tickets?no to that, too. never have. never will.

{ten} do you prefer to be in front of the camera or behind it?behind it... obviously! but I guess it's good to be in front of it sometimes too.

A Note to Spring Break

dear spring break,

words cannot describe how amazing you are. my vacation to california was much needed, and I miss it already. but please don't leave me! I'm refusing to go back to school, just so ya know. I love you oh-so-much, and can't wait until next year. (you'll be my trip to Europe, remember?) so PLEASE hurry back.
