Book Review

I just finished reading the BEST book ever! It's called 'Dear John' by Nicholas Sparks. Nicholas Sparks is famous for his #1 New York Times bestsellers. He also wrote 'The Notebook' and 'A Walk to Remember' The movie is actually coming out next week, on my birthday! (Which is in 9 more days... just sayin.) and I can't wait to see it.

(Book cover)

(Movie Poster)

Channing Tatum plays John Tyree and Amanda Seyfried plays Savannah Curtis

The book is basically about John who doesn't know what to do with his life so he joins the army. When he is on leave he meets a girl down at the beach. Their friendship turns into love. They write letters to eachother while John is in Germany for the army. Whenever he is on leave he spends his time with Savannah and talks about how much he loves her. John ends up enlisting in the war for another 2 more years. They both knew that was the right decision. But the weekly letters start to become monthly letters. And if you want to know the rest... READ THE BOOK!! (:

Or you can just go HERE for basically the whole story! (;

Mom's Birthday

On January 12, it was my mom's 40th birthday! Wow!

She celebrated by going to Texas Roadhouse with friends and coming back home for her favorite kind of pie, Lemon Cream pie.

That morning she also woke up to our whole frontyard decorated with toilet paper, banners, chalk, and the numbers 4-0 everywhere! ;)

She got a few books, cookbooks, 2 gift cards, and lots of cards. Oh and don't forget the 80+ wall posts on Facebook!

I love you mom! Thanks for all that you do for me. Hope you had an awesome day!

Digital Scrapbooking

Lately, I 've been messing around with some digital scrapbooking and this is the scrapbook page I made of my little sister, Jaynee! I think it turned out really cute. These scrapbook pages are actually really fun to make and something I like to do. It's SO much easier than *real* scrapbooking! haha
Anyways, I hope you liked it.

Autumn Scrapblog

OK, I know it's not even Autumn anymore, but I made a scrapblog of all the pictures we took on our mini trip to Zion. (When I say mini trip, I mean only about 4 hours!) Remember this post? Well, here is the scrapblog of that.
**FYI: Scrapblog is a site where you can create digital scapbook pages. You can easily share them by making photobooks, or just simply sharing them online like I am!**

Hope you enjoyed! (:

Ice Skating

OK so today is one of the last days of my Christmas break! Nooo, I don't want it to end! Each day I've been going to bed around 1:00 AM and waking up around 9:00 or 10:00 AM. I'm soo not ready for school to start. I don't know how I'm going to do it!
So being that it's one of the last days of our Christmas break, Kenzie, Kennedy and I went to the new ice skating rink in town! It was really fun, other than that I absolutely could NOT do it at all! Ugh. I wouldn't be able to do it to save my life!
Afterwards, we all went over to Kennedy's house. That's where we usually end up! ;) Her house is like my home away from home. Anyways, we decided to play Uno Attack with her sister and her friend. Kennedy and I were one of the last ones in the game so we kinda lost. :/ After that we had a blast playing Hide and Seek in the dark in her basement. It was pitch black in her basement so thats what made it really fun!
So that's what happened today.

(That's what I looked like today! hahah ;P)

Update: I've decided that I'm not going to post something EVERY single day. Maybe just 3-4 days a week. It would just be hard to post something every day when I have school starting back up this week. :/

Blog Resolution

Okay, so I was thinking for one of my "New Years Resolutions" for my blog would be to try to post something each day throughout the year. It might not be a really good, well though-out post, but just something about my day. Kind of my way of journaling. Starting today! (I know, technically it's not the 1st anymore but I'll post about today anyway.)

Today, being the FIRST day of 2010, I unfortunately didn't do much. My mom bought lots of finger foods and my family just stayed home, ate, and played games. It was kinda nice to just relax. But later my friend, Kennedy, invited me over to her house for a late night. Kenzie cam over also. Unfortunately, we didn't do anything exciting. We usually just talk about stupid stuff, and do weird things! And that is what makes it fun!
So that concludes my day! Pretty exciting... not. But Kennedy, Kenzie, and I hopefully have more exciting plans planned for tomorrow!
Happy 2010!
