Friday's Fancies

hey, guess what? it's FRIDAY. (gotta get down on friday! fun, fun, fun, fun. we so excited!) if you don't already know what I'm talking about... please watch this video.

oh man. I feel bad for that girl. hahah

anyways, to the point...

today, I decided to join in on Friday's Fancies from {long distance loving}. what you do is you create your dream outfit without looking at the price tag for whatever activity your Friday will hold. how fun!

for my outfit I created, I used the amazing: Polyvore.

today, I'm hanging out with Kenzie, and we'll being going to a few school soccer games then hanging out with friends afterwards. so it should be fun! this outfit I put together is probably a little too dressy for a soccer game, but I can dream, right?

so I chose a cute, ruffly top with some casual jeans. I'm in love with that top. the color is amazing! then I paired it with some white sandals and a gray messenger type bag. I would wear neutral eye makeup, and the bracelet just for fun! I love it. what do you think??

Spring Break Day 1: Beach

today was the first "official" day of our trip! since we were stuck in the car for almost the whole day yesterday, we decided we would go to the beach first thing the next day to relax and have fun!

we stayed in a little condo about 2 blocks away from the beach. so awesome! the only downside of the place we stayed in is that there's a railroad track right next to us, so about every two hours... that train comes by and it just loves to blow that horn!!

Wee Bit Wednesdays

hellooo everyone!

of course the one time I actually have time to post something, my computer decides to be dumb. sooo the pictures from my Spring Break will be postponed until it wants to work again. :)

I decided I would do "Wee Bit of Me Wednesday" from Ashley's blog today to keep you guys entertained. it's fun! you should join in too!

{one} what was your first job?I haven't had an official job yet, but if babysitting counts then I guess that would be mine!

{two} have you ever seen a stand up comedian?Nope!

{three} when was the last time you played mini golf?I believe I went last summer... yes? no? I don't remember :)

{four} what was the last picture you took?one of the beach in California before we left to go back home.

{five} burnt food: yes or no?no thank you!
{six} if you have a pocket full of change, what do you do with it?stuff it in my wallet. I usually take out all the pennies (I hate pennies) and give them to my little sister and keep all the rest. ;)

{seven} can you touch your tongue to your nose?not quite. I'm so close, but it just won't reach far enough! haha

{eight} do you scrapbook?no, but I have tried digital scrapbooking before.

{nine} do you buy lottery tickets?no to that, too. never have. never will.

{ten} do you prefer to be in front of the camera or behind it?behind it... obviously! but I guess it's good to be in front of it sometimes too.

A Note to Spring Break

dear spring break,

words cannot describe how amazing you are. my vacation to california was much needed, and I miss it already. but please don't leave me! I'm refusing to go back to school, just so ya know. I love you oh-so-much, and can't wait until next year. (you'll be my trip to Europe, remember?) so PLEASE hurry back.

Spring Break, Here I Come!

the long, awaited Spring Break has finally arrived! yeah! I'm leaving to San Diego, California very soon so I wanted to update you all to let you know that I can't post this week. sad day. BUT, I will definitely do a whole post (or two... or three) about my Spring Break.

I'm so very excited, and I can't wait to get there. we'll be staying at the beach, visiting the zoo, eating lots of yummy food, playing at a few amusement parks, and of course we'll be doing a little shopping! the condo we're staying in is by the beach too. yeah, do you get where my excitement is coming from?

well, I  better finish packing. I'm a huge procrastinator when it comes to that kind of stuff. ;) whether you're on Spring Break or not, I hope you all have a great week!

Attention: I Am Alive!

I am not dead, people! so sorry I've been MIA these past couple of weeks. life has been a little hectic. I've delt with the winter flu, crazy homework assignments, babysitting, family and friend activites, etc! so it's a little crazy around here and I hope you didn't miss me too much. ;) just kidding.

so anywhooo,

this post will be a little random, just an fyi...

lately, I've been really into cooking and baking. I've always loved it, but these past few weeks I've been doing it more. here are a few pics of the cupcakes my friends and I made on Presidents Day...

we mixed red, white, and blue to go with the presidents day theme!

then we made homemade macaroni and cheese. SO YUMMY. and just for fun, we made a smoothie. :)

so there is just a hint of what I've been doing. like I said at the beginning of this post, I've been busy with school, friends, and family. that's basically my life right now. pretty exciting, eh? it's whatev. ;)

just and update: next week is... wait for it... SPRING BREAK! finally. I cannot even wait because today my dad suprised us with a trip to California!!! I'm so excited. we will be staying in a condo by the beach for a whole entire week. unbelievable. :)

so that's basically it. woot.
